1.Make a list and stick to it
Decide now who you need to shop for and which gift for each recipient. Don’t forget teachers, secretaries, postal workers, colleagues, your boss, etc. They all work so intensely this time of year; a simple “Thank You” card can brighten their season, but gifts like: new socks, a pretty scarf, and gift certificates are the real winners!
2.Shop local
Skip the big box stores and online behemoths and keep your dollars local. If you need to ship a gift, consider a Gift Certificate from a locally owned store!
3.Don’t forget about yourself
It can be all too easy to get caught up in the season of giving and doing for others. Be sure to take care of yourself.
